We are pleased to share the recent results of the Express Entry draw held on June 27, 2023, by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). In this latest round, a total of 4,300 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) were issued to eligible candidates seeking permanent residence (PR) in Canada. This draw marks the 10th all-program draw conducted by IRCC this year.
It is essential to highlight that all-program draws encompass applicants from three prominent Express Entry programs: the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). As a result, candidates from all these streams were considered for an ITA.
Notably, the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score required for today’s draw was 486, which was consistent with the previous all-program draw held on June 8th, 2023. It is crucial for potential candidates to be aware of the eligibility criteria and ensure their CRS score meets the set cut-off to qualify for future draws.
Furthermore, it is worth mentioning that the Canadian government announced two weeks ago its intention to commence category-based Express Entry draws later this summer, introducing potential new opportunities for applicants.
For those currently in the Express Entry pool, IRCC is expected to issue the next round of invitations in approximately two weeks. We encourage interested candidates to stay informed about the latest updates and requirements to make the most of this opportunity.
About Express Entry
Express Entry is the primary immigration method of Canada expertly managed by the Federal Government. This streamlined application system handles immigration applications from three prestigious programs: the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP). Through these programs, talented foreign workers are enticed to Canada, offering them a pathway to secure permanent residence in this vibrant and inclusive nation. Canadian permanent residents relish the same rights and freedoms as those born in the country.
Aspiring candidates take the first step towards Canadian permanent residency by self-assessing their eligibility for at least one of the three programs. Once eligibility is confirmed, qualified candidates create an online profile on the official Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) website. This profile places applicants in the pool of eligible candidates, offering the potential to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) through an upcoming Express Entry draw.
With anticipation, candidates await the next Express Entry draw, which typically takes place every two weeks. During these draws, eligible candidates in the pool with a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score above the specified cut-off for that particular draw are invited to apply.
Upon receiving the coveted ITA, Express Entry candidates transition to become official Express Entry applicants. At this stage, they have 60 days to submit their electronic Application for Permanent Residence (eAPR) to IRCC.
